Police Information Check (PIC) / Criminal Record Check (CRC)

Questions regarding Police Information Checks/Criminal Records Checks and Risk Management in general can be directed to:

Mike Purdy, PCEFC Risk Management Officer.  Email

All volunteers and staff with PCEFC (coaches, assistant coaches, managers, staff, executive board) are required to have a Police Information Check/Criminal Records Check (PIC/CRC) done. This is a BC Soccer regulation and is not optional. We must have a PIC/CRC on file and cannot accept “I already have one from ….” There are no exceptions to this regulation.

Note: Many people work in professions with enhanced clearance (eg. Law Enforcement, Teachers, Criminal Justice System etc…). Unfortunately, that does not satisfy the regulations we must comply with as a volunteer organization.  We require a separate valid PIC/CRC from you using the following process:

Once you submit your Team Official Application online, you will get one of 2 emails from us within a week.

  1. If you are new to the club OR your PIC/CRC has expired, we will email you instructions on how to complete your CRC/PIC online.
  2. Confirmation that your PIC/CRC is still valid.
