To make this event a huge success we need equipment!  Families are encouraged to donate and drop off their used sporting goods of any kind at the following locations from July 5– August 6, anytime between 8am and 4pm in the bins in front of the offices:

Aug 12 -13, 5:00pm-8:00pm and Aug 14th, 1:00-8:00pm in front of the Poirier        Community Centre, 630 Poirier St.

If you have used equipment taking up space in your garage or basement, this is a great opportunity to free up some space, donate the equipment and make a great contribution to our community - “So ALL Kids Can Play!”. This event will only be a success if we have a good selection of equipment, and we need the community’s help to ensure we have that equipment.

Since 2006, thanks to the generous support of our sponsors and donors, KidSport Tri-Cities has helped over 800 youth to participate in organized sport including 314 in 2009 alone.  The first annual KidSport Used Sporting Goods Sale last August was a huge success - putting quality used equipment in the hands of families and raising much needed funds for KidSport. Our goal for this year is to raise $10,000.  This would insure that at least another 50 kids would get a chance to play.

These Bi-annual events are another important step in the growth of our local chapter, as we seek to target all of the financial obstacles currently preventing young people from experiencing the benefits and joys of sport.
