Program Overview
PoCo FC is excited to announce two upcoming Goalie Wars tournaments in April for female goalkeepers in age groups U11–U16 (2025/26 season). Both events are open to goalkeepers from any club.

Within each event, there will be two groups:
U11–U13 (born 2014–2016)
U14–U16 (born 2011–2013)
Out of Club Players welcome to attend
Goalkeepers must arrive 30 minutes before the tournament start time.
When - April 17, 2026
Where - Gates Park Turf 1, Port Coquitlam
Time - Arrive 5:30pm, Tournament runs 6:00pm to 8:00pm
Cost - Free
Prizes - Winners of each age group will receive a prize.

Goalie Wars? What is this about?
Goalie Wars is a head to head tournament that focuses on a goalkeeper’s ability to make saves and score on their opponent.
It is played 1 v 1 in timed games. Each goalkeeper attempts to score on the opposing keeper while defending their own net. They may shoot with their feet or distribute with their hands to score.
At the end of each game, the goalkeeper with the most goals wins
Format
Each goalkeeper will play in a round robin format within their age group.
Following the round robin stage, all goalkeepers will enter a knockout phase, seeded based on their standings.
The competition will continue through to a final where the Goalie Wars champion for each age group will be crowned.
