PoCo FC is excited to host Kick and Play – A Free All-Girls Soccer Event, aligned with Canada Soccer Grassroots Standards and designed to create a fun, inclusive, and welcoming environment for female players.
This free event is open to all girls, including current PoCo FC players and those who are new to the game. Registered players are encouraged to bring a friend who would like to try soccer in a low-pressure, supportive setting. No previous soccer experience is required.
The evening will be led by an all-female coaching staff, supported by older PoCo FC player volunteers who will help create a positive, encouraging experience for participants.
Sessions will focus on enjoyment, confidence, and participation through small-sided games and age-appropriate activities that encourage movement, creativity, and connection. The emphasis is on playing the game, building friendships, and creating positive first experiences in soccer.
This initiative supports PoCo FC’s commitment to growing the women’s and girls’ game by reducing barriers to entry, fostering a sense of belonging, and providing quality grassroots soccer experiences.
