Program Overview

10 Week Development Program - Friday Evenings

The PoCo FC Development Academy is for U11–U13 children who want another opportunity to continue their development.

Sessions build on the child's technical foundation while introducing more tactical understanding, game awareness and decision-making.

Training will have a higher tempo and use game-realistic activities that challenge children to understand when, where and why to use their skills.

Children will train in groups that provide an appropriate level of challenge while keeping the environment positive, inclusive and focused on development.

  • U11–U13 children

PoCo FC Academy programs are optional and are not required for team selection or movement within the Club.

Additional training can support a child's development by providing more time on the ball, more coaching and more opportunities to learn.

Children who do not participate in an Academy will continue to be supported and evaluated through their regular team environment and the Club's evaluation process.

Every child develops differently and families should choose the development opportunities that are right for their child.
