Pre-Season Training Camp U8–U16

Our Pre-Season Training Camp is designed to help players prepare for the upcoming fall season in a focused, purposeful training environment.

Program Overview


Delivered in partnership with MCR Soccer Coaching, this camp combines technical work, tactical understanding, game-based conditioning and competitive play to help players return to their teams sharp, confident and ready to perform.


Sessions are built around game readiness. Players will work on the habits, intensity and decision-making needed to start the season well, while continuing to develop individual quality and a better understanding of how they impact the game in and out of possession.


Who It’s For

  • U8 to U16


This camp is open to boys and girls of all levels. Players will be grouped by age and ability to create the best possible training environment and to make sure players are appropriately challenged and supported..

Schedule and Times

This camp runs over five days.

  • U8–U11: 10:00am to 12:00pm

  • U12–U16: 1:00pm to 3:00pm


Scheduling note

Groups may be adjusted to create the best training environment and only appropriate ages will be grouped together.

  • Please arrive a few minutes early so players can be ready to start on time.

What to Expect Each Day

Sessions are designed to prepare players physically, technically, and mentally for the start of the season. Players will take part in:


  • High-tempo ball mastery and technical work to sharpen first touch, passing, receiving and execution under pressure

  • Activities linked to team shape, structure and roles within the game

  • Game-based conditioning through small-sided games, transition practices and competitive football actions

  • 1v1, 2v2 and competitive duel moments that build confidence, resilience and intensity

  • Attacking patterns, defensive organization and transition work connected to real match situations

  • Small-sided and larger game formats that help players build rhythm, understanding and match sharpness


Younger players will continue building confidence, habits and comfort in game situations, while older players will be pushed more in relation to speed of play, tactical awareness and readiness for competition.

What to Bring

  • Soccer boots or turf boots

  • Shin guards

  • Water bottle (name clearly labelled)

  • Weather-appropriate clothing

  • Snack if needed

Coaching and Environment

  • The pre-season environment is designed to be focused, positive and competitive. Coaches will challenge players to work with intensity, communicate well and develop the habits needed to prepare properly for the season ahead.

  • Our goal is for players to leave the week feeling sharper on the ball, clearer in their decision-making, and more ready to contribute to their team from day one.
