Summer Development Camp (U8–U11)
The PoCo FC Summer Development Camp is designed for younger players who want to stay active, build confidence on the ball and keep improving in a fun, positive environment.

Program Overview

Delivered as a PoCo FC program in partnership with MCR Soccer Coaching, the camp follows the club’s player development approach with lots of repetition, game-based learning and meaningful touches on the ball.
Sessions are active, simple and built around the game. Players will get plenty of chances to try things, make mistakes, solve problems and enjoy being on the ball.
Who It’s For
U8 to U11
This camp is a great fit for players who want to improve their technical skills, build confidence, and enjoy the game in a supportive, energetic environment. All levels are welcome, and players will be grouped in a way that creates the right level of challenge and success.

What to Expect Each Day
Each day is designed to keep players active, involved and learning through game-like practice and lots of repetition.
Players will take part in:
Ball mastery and coordination work to build comfort and confidence on the ball
Technical activities focused on dribbling, passing, receiving, turning and finishing
1v1 and 2v2 moments that encourage bravery, creativity and decision-making
Repetition-based learning with lots of ball contact throughout the session
Small-sided games that help players apply skills in realistic match situations
The camp environment is designed to help younger players enjoy the process of learning, make mistakes without fear and leave the field feeling proud of their effort and excited to come back the next day.

Coaching and Environment
This camp is coached in a way that keeps the experience positive, engaging and player-centered. Coaches use clear instruction, encouraging feedback and game-based activities to help players build confidence and develop strong habits on the ball.
Our goal is to create an environment where players feel supported, challenged at the right level and free to express themselves while learning.
