Program Overview

Our U6 and U7 Mini’s Spring Program is a Canada Soccer–aligned grassroots program built around learning through play. Sessions focus on movement, confidence on the ball, and simple skills that show up in games like dribbling, turning, passing, and shooting. It’s a positive environment where kids stay active, try new things, and improve each week.

This program is designed for players who want to keep learning, stay active, and enjoy the game in a positive training environment. We keep it fun, supportive, and age-appropriate, so every child can build confidence, feel included, and leave the field excited to come back.
Schedule and Times
All sessions run on Sundays
U6 (2021) 9:30 am to 10:30 am
U7 (2020) 10:30 am to 11:30 am

Location
Gates Park Artificial Turf Field #1 (Red border)
Please arrive a few minutes early so players can be ready to start on time.
What to Expect Each Week
Sessions are designed to keep kids moving, smiling, and learning with lots of touches on the ball.
A fun arrival activity to help kids settle in and feel comfortable
Ball time for every player including dribbling, turns, and basic control
Simple, playful games with a purpose where kids learn by solving problems
Small-sided play that builds confidence, creativity, and joy for the game
What to Bring
Soccer boots
Water bottle (name clearly labelled)
Shin guards recommended
Weather-appropriate clothing
If your family needs support with equipment or planning, reach out and we’ll do our best to help reduce barriers so your child can participate.
Cost
$170 (t-shirt included)
T-shirt size is selected during registration.
Coaching and Environment
Mini’s sessions are coached in a way that keeps the experience safe, welcoming, and encouraging for all players. We use positive language, celebrate effort, and help children build confidence at their own pace.
Our goal is simple: kids should leave the field feeling happy, included, and excited to come back next week.
How Registration Works
Spring Academy registration will close on April 6, 2026.
Late registrations are welcome if space allows. If you join after the program starts, fees stay the same.
