Port Coquitlam FC is looking for a volunteer Age Group Coordinator to support our
2014 Boys birth year.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to give back to the club, support
local youth soccer and help create a positive experience for players, families, coaches
and team officials.
The Age Group Coordinator plays an important role in helping keep the age group
organized, informed and connected throughout the season. This person helps act as a
bridge between families, team officials and the club, while ensuring questions or
concerns are directed to the right people in a respectful and timely way. The role is
focused on communication, coordination and support, not technical decisions, player
placement or discipline matters.
This role may include:
Supporting communication between families, coaches, managers and the club
Helping keep the age group organized throughout the season
Assisting with reminders, timelines and general updates
Helping identify coach, manager or volunteer support needs
Supporting registration, team setup and season start-up communication
Helping create a positive, respectful and player-centred environment
Bringing forward concerns early so the proper club lead can help
This role would be a great fit for someone who is organized, approachable, dependable
and community-minded. You do not need to be a soccer expert. What matters most is a
willingness to help, communicate clearly and support the players and families in a calm
and positive way.
This is a volunteer role, but it is an important one. Age Group Coordinators help
strengthen the connection between the club and its members, while making a
meaningful contribution to the soccer experience for local youth players.
Interested volunteers can contact the Executive Director at ed@pocosoccer.com.
